HAALT is a private mental health practice that offers a unique approach to therapy called psychotherapy incorporating equines. We serve adults, adolescents, and children in our local and surrounding communities. 

We also offer a unique approach to learning new skills called equine-assisted learning. We implement this approach into our community enrichment programming. 

We do not offer horseback riding.

2. Once you are connected, we will schedule a free phone consultation to make sure our services are a good fit. 
3. Our therapist will then set up your Client Portal log-in to complete the necessary paperwork.
4. Your intake session will be scheduled then subsequent session will be scheduled at that time

        At this time, all farm sessions are scheduled on one weekday morning or afternoon

Clinical fees for services at the farm are a direct payment service only. HAALT Therapeutic Center, PLLC can provide a superbill upon request for reimbursement. 

Initial 90-minute intake $250

Individual sessions at the farm $200

Professional credentialing is important to us. 

The Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl. ) certifies and accredits centers, instructors and equine specialists according to a set of field-tested standards to ensure the highest levels of safety, ethics and effectiveness in the equine-assisted services industry. Instructors must complete workshops and pass both written and practical exams to become certified to teach equine-assisted services. Participants and their families can be confident that PATH Intl. Member Centers and Professionals deliver safe and effective Equine-Assisted Services (EAS) programming. 

HAALT Therapeutic Center, PLLC is a PATH Member Center.

Our staff are credentialed PATH Int'l Equine Specialists in Mental Health & Learning (ESMHL) or in-process.

Our therapists utilize a HIPAA compliant electronic health record called Therapy Notes. It is a service to our practice and supports our clients in the following ways: 

• Maintain your own personal log in 
• Upload your intake paperwork
• Check appointment time
• Send/receive messages with your therapist
• View your statements

Non-Emergency Cancellations:  We require 24 hours notice to cancel a session. Please call Samantha Hodges, (904) 650-5577 in the event you need to cancel. 

Please be courteous about canceling sessions as your therapist and volunteer’s time is valuable. Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to session time will be charged the full session fee.

Weather-Related Cancellations: HAALT Therapeutic Center, PLLC farm services may close or cancel sessions due to inclement weather or uncomfortable temperatures. HAALT Therapeutic Center, PLLC will notify you with as much advance notice as possible and we only cancel when weather is dangerous.

HAALT Therapeutic Center, PLLC. Cancellations: There are times when the farm is closed for holidays or training sessions throughout the year. HAALT Therapeutic Center, PLLC will notify you well in advance and will reschedule you for the next available day.
