Our lead Therapist

Samantha Hodges, owner and lead therapist of HAALT Therapeutic Center, PLLC holds a Masters in Social Work and Animal-Assisted Therapy in Counseling Certificate from UNF, is a PATH Int’l Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning (ESMHL), a Pet Partners Evaluator & Handler, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).  

Samantha has experience working with children and families, adolescents, and adults affected by domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues.  

Samantha is passionate about offering a unique space at the farm to foster relationships with animals to promote healing and growth. 

Carolyn Moldovanyi, LMHC, LMFT is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has her Masters of Health Science Degree (M.H.S.) majoring in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Florida. Carolyn holds a certificate in Animal-Assisted Therapy in Counseling from the University of North Florida and a PATH International Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning certification. 

Carolyn has served in a variety of therapeutic settings for the last 24 years, some of which are Vocational Rehabilitation, The Women’s Center of Jacksonville, contractor for the Navy in Mayport, Florida, a Clinical Case Manager for New Directions, a United Healthcare Care Manager, and Clinical Counseling Private Practice.
